PARK CITY, Utah—Bartenders in Canyons Village are keeping it local, tapping into Park City-based ingredients for the inaugural cocktail contest hosted by the Canyons Village Management Association (CVMA). Restaurants throughout Canyons Village are participating, with one caveat: bartenders must include at least two local ingredients.
Park City is chock full of its own liquor purveyors, such as Alpine Distilling, Tsuki Sake, Proverbial Spirits, and High West Whiskey. But bartenders are going even further, including local mix-ins and accouterments, such as maple syrup, raw honey, and even local granola.
