Alta Ski Area to honor 54-Year-Old lift ticket vouchers

Alta Ski Area has agreed to honor two 54-year-old ski lift ticket gift vouchers discovered by Ryan Kendrick, a skier from Salt Lake City. Kendrick posted a picture of the vouchers on the social media platform Threads saying “Hey @altaskiarea are these 54 year old gift certificates still good????”

To which Alta replied ” Seeing as there’s no expiration date, we’d be more than happy to honor these with two lift tickets this season.”

At the time the vouchers were issued, the day ticket price at Alta Ski Area was $7. For comparison, the current day ticket price is $189.

@deervalleyresort in Park City chimed in on the fun also offering two day lift tickets for the vouchers.
