Tune in to see Park City’s own rescue pup on Discovery’s Puppy Bowl XX
Nuzzles & Co. brings Pando from the Navajo Nation to the national stage
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City’s very own rescue pup, Pando, taken in by Nuzzles & Co., will make his television debut on Discovery’s broadcast of the Puppy Bowl XX. The event airs on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 11, at 12 p.m. MT on Animal Planet, Discovery, Discovery+, MAX, TBS and truTV.
While Pando may not be an official player for Team Ruff or Team Fluff, his appearance during the Puppy Bowl’s 3rd hour will spotlight Nuzzles & Co., a local rescue organization dedicated to saving pets in need. Currently 11 weeks old, this mixed-breed male puppy, his mother, and nine siblings were rescued from the Navajo Nation. His namesake is the Pando Aspen, found in central Utah on the Fishlake National Forest.
Despite his quiet and somewhat shy demeanor, Pando harbors a strong, adventurous spirit and an unyielding desire for affection. This fluffy, energetic pup’s estimated adult weight is between 40 and 60 pounds.
Viewers can look forward to seeing Pando and the impactful work of Nuzzles & Co. during the broadcast. His adoption opportunity will open up following his segment.
It’s worth noting that five of Pando’s littermates are also still seeking their forever homes, as well as his mother, Ocean. All are available for adoption now on Nuzzles’ website.
