HEBER CITY, Utah — The Wasatch High School co-ed competitive cheerleading team has been crowned State Champions for the 2023-24 season.
The UHSAA championships took place on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 26-27 at Utah Valley University, and the co-ed cheerleading team took first in every event: show, cheer, dance, and game time.
The Wasatch cheerleading team has had a successful past, but this is their first year winning the State Championship.
“We are incredibly proud of the performances they left on the state mat. They have had to work through some really hard obstacles this year,” Wasatch Cheerleading said in an instagram post. “Coming together and trusting the process and each other has been amazing to watch.”
