Park City Ice Miners congratulate alum set to play in college, welcome new coach

The Park City Ice Miners (PCIM) is congratulating former Ice Miner Ella Bynan for committing to play NCAA Division III ice hockey for the East Coast’s Hood College beginning during the 2024-2025 season.

“We can’t wait to follow your collegiate career,” said a statement from the PCIM.

The PCIM are excited to welcome Jordan Parise as its new goalie coach, effective this winter. With over 20 years of coaching experience, 250 professional games played, and MVP honors while playing for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux, Jordan is excited to join the Ice Miners organization for the 2023-2024 season.

Parise has played in professional leagues in Austria, Italy, Norway, and Germany, along with Iowa and Illinois.

His primary focus will be the growth and development of the goaltenders while providing insight, opportunities, and education for forwards and defensemen in their goal-scoring pursuits.

Parise will be on the ice several times per week, covering all age groups, to ensure a high-level standard is consistently met. He’ll encourage young, motivated athletes to push beyond what they believe is possible.

Club representative Bethany Adamack wrote in a statement, “Welcome to the PCIM family, Coach Parise!”
