Park City Winter Commuter Rewards Program returns today

Participants can earn cash rewards for utilizing sustainable forms of transportation

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Winter Commuter Rewards program returns today for the 2023-24 season.

The Winter Commuter Rewards Program offers cash incentives for those who use sustainable forms of transit, such as biking, walking, carpooling, or utilizing public transportation.

Starting today, the program will be open to employees, visitors and residents of Park City and greater Summit County through March 31. Participants can log their trips on RideOnParkCity.org or apps like Strava, Waze or CommuteTrack.

Each mode of transportation earns a specific point value. The individual who earns the most points by the end of the season will receive a grand prize of $1,500 in cash, and the second-place winner will receive $1,000. Monthly drawings will also be held, open to anyone who has logged at least one trip during the month.
