Midway’s Ice Castles unveil new design for upcoming winter season
'Ice Castles is an awe-inspiring, must-see winter phenomenon that brings fairy tales to life.'
MIDWAY, Utah — Midway’s popular Ice Castles are set to return this season; tickets will go on sale Nov. 29. Adult pricing is $25 for ages 12 and up and $17 for guests 11 and under.
Construction has already begun on the winter wonderland, with 20 ice artists crafting the experience an icicle at a time.
Utah is in for a treat this year as the ice castles will showcase a new design with slides, hidden caverns, winding tunnels, enchanting crawl spaces, and mesmerizing ice sculptures. The ice will come alive with dazzling lights.
Visitors will have the chance to enjoy horse-drawn sleigh wagon rides, and for those needing a sweet treat, a soda bar by “Quench It!” will serve drinks.
The closing dates of the Ice Castles will be dictated by the weather, typically occurring in late December or early January.
