Cold front from Northwest brings drift smoke to Summit County

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A cold front from the Northwestern U.S. has brought drift smoke into Summit County.

According to a statement from Summit County, the smoke comes from fires in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Northern California. The smoke is expected to be present this afternoon through Thursday evening.

At time of reporting there are no active wildfires in Summit County, Utah.
