Park City Municipal to host joint meeting on Bonanza Small Park Area Plan and 5-Acre Site Feasibility Study
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Municipal will hold an informational meeting for two upcoming projects on July 19.
A joint community meeting for the Bonanza Park Small Area Plan and the 5-Acre Site Feasibility Study will take place next Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Doubletree by Hilton Park City – The Yarrow at 1800 Park Avenue, in Yarrow Summit Conference Room A.
The meeting will be open house style, so guests can arrive at any time to participate.
The city has developed the Bonanza Park Small Area Plan as a long-range vision for the Bonanza Park and Snow Creek areas.
“This work will result in a long-range vision for the neighborhood that considers land use, transportation, mobility, placemaking, connectivity, and parks and open spaces,” states the Small Area Plan website. “This effort will focus on a 200-acre Study Area bound by Park Avenue, Deer Valley Drive, Bonanza Drive, Prospector Square, and the Park City Cemetery toward Snow Creek Drive.”
The project is expected to take 10 months to complete.
The 5-Acre Site Feasibility Study is intended to define the future development character and opportunities for five acres of city owned property within Bonanza Park at the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Bonanza Drive.
“A new process guided by the Park City community, the intention of this study is to create a vision for the area that reflects the desires of Park City residents, businesses, and stakeholders, and is supportive of existing neighborhood character in the area,” said the 5-Acre Site Feasibility Study website.
