Get ready for Park City Transit’s ‘Walk, Roll, Transit Week,’ August 14-19
PARK CITY, Utah — Join Park City Transit and the Transportation Planning Department for “Walk, Roll, Transit Week,” August 14 to 19.
Park City residents are invited to get ready for an action-packed week of community bonding and fun. Explore scenic bike rides and experience seamless transit journeys – there’s something for everyone to get involved.
- Monday, August 14- Ride on Challenge: Track your trips for the week and win some prizes. Sign up here.
- Tuesday, August 15- Transit to Work Day: Leave your car at home and take public transportation. Coffee to go will be available at designated areas, yet to be determined.
- Wednesday, August 16- Park City Transit is hiring; come by the Old Town Transit Center from 1-4 p.m. and learn more. Applicants can apply here.
- Thursday, August 17- Preschool Storytime & Transit to Trails Evening Bike Ride. Preschool storytime will kick off the day followed by a bus tour. Then enjoy an evening bike ride led by the Park City’s Trails and Open Spaces team starting at 5:15 p.m. at the Mid-Mountain Trailhead. Reserve your Transit to Trails ride here.
- Friday, August 18- Enjoy coffee with Mayor Nann Worel at the Old Town Transit Center from 8-10 a.m.
- Saturday, August 19- Wrap up the week’s festivities with the Bike Rodeo. Join the fun at McPolin Elementary from 10 a.m. to noon.
