TV docuseries of Gwyneth Paltrow ski trial to air later this year
PARK CITY, Utah — Although Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski trial is long over, the world-famous case is set to take center stage again later this year.
Variety reported yesterday that the production company Optomen will continue their “Vs” series for Discovery + with a two-part documentary following Paltrow’s legal entanglement with optometrist Terry Sanderson that unfolded in Park City earlier this year.
Paltrow was sued by Sanderson, whom she later counter-sued, following the pair’s collision on a Deer Valley ski slope in 2016. Paltrow was ultimately found not at fault for the incident after Sanderson’s complaint was dismissed in Park City’s Third District Court on March 30.
The “Vs” series also includes documentaries on other celebrity legal battles, including “Johnny vs Amber,” and “Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce.”
According to Variety, the docuseries will air later this year.
