Rare Banksy artworks to be featured in new exhibition
GLASGOW, Scotland — The BBC has reported that Banksy, the artist who has left his famous graffiti art on Main Street in Park City, will be featured in an authorized art exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland.
The exhibition, entitled “CUT & RUN,” is the artist’s first solo show in 14 years, and will b e open to visitors at Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art until August 28.
“The Art of Banksy,” an exhibition unauthorized by Banksy himself, will return to London in September. This show has described itself as the world’s largest collection of Banksy artworks.
Other unauthorized exhibitions showcasing some of Banksy’s greatest hits, which are on loan from private collectors, have shown over the last few years in Melbourne, San Francisco, Chicago, Tel Aviv, Miami, Sydney, Washington D.C., and Toronto.
