New Spanish events announced at Park City Library
PARK CITY, Utah — The Spanish Services Team at the Park City Library, Daniel Thurston and Bry Velazquez, have announced their plans for expanding Spanish events. Through their bilingual programming and dedication to serving the Spanish-speaking community, Thurston and Velazquez have significantly impacted the Library’s outreach efforts.
Bilingual Baby starting June 13

This interactive lap sit is designed to promote language skills in both English and Spanish to babies. Through the use of short books and music, children aged 2 and under can take their first steps on the path to bilingualism.
Outdoor Movies on the Patio | Cine al aire libre

Watch a free outdoor movie, ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold,’ in Spanish with English subtitles on the Library’s patio. The screening begins at dusk (around 8:45 pm) and is brought to you in partnership with Park City Film Series and Basin Recreation.
English-Spanish Conversation Club

Refine your Spanish and English conversation skills in a supportive group setting while learning to have genuine everyday conversations. With 30-minute practice sessions in both languages for all skill levels (including beginners), this is an excellent opportunity for adults and teenagers (over 14) alike to boost their language proficiency.
Mexican Bingo | Lotería

Join in for an evening of Lotería, a traditional game of chance from México, similar to bingo where a deck of cards with images is used instead of ping-pong balls. This bilingual event is open to all ages, so bring your friends and family.
