CORRINE, Utah — Michigan State Police have asked for the public’s help in finding a person of interest in a 2011 homicide case who was last seen in Corrine, Utah.
Authorities are searching for Chadwick Shane Mobley, 42, in connection with a homicide investigation. Mobley is six feet tall, weighs approximately 155 pounds, and has blue eyes and blonde hair. He was last spotted in Corrine, in Box Elder County, on June 7, 2023.
Mobley is known to be armed, and was seen driving a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with the Utah Navy Veteran license plate 10EA0. The truck has dark-tinted windows and taillights.
“It is believed he has been residing in his vehicle and may still be in the state of Utah,” said a statement from the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS). “Local dispatch centers throughout the state and neighboring states have been made aware of the situation.”
The Utah State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has asked that anyone with information on Mobley contact their local dispatch centers, 911, or law enforcement. All information will be sent to SBI agents who will coordinate with the Michigan State Police. The SBI has warned the public not to approach the suspect.
“We want to thank everyone who has provided information regarding this person of interest,” said a statement from the Utah DPS. “If you or someone you know spots Mobley or has any information that could lead to his location please contact your local dispatch and law enforcement.”
