PARK CITY, Utah — Park City School District (PCSD) educator Jen Bramson was awarded the 2023 Paraeducator and Utah Education Support Professional of the Year awards at the annual Utah School Employer Association award ceremony on April 19.

“This is an honor I am beyond proud of,” Bramson said as she accepeted her awards. “Advocating for students, school employees, and public education is my passion, and I still have so much work to do.”

Bramson has worked for PCSD since 2013. She teaches preschool at McPolin Elementary School, and serves on the negotiations team for Park City School District. She is currently working on developing equity and diversity training for the Utah School Employees Association, and is actively engaged with Utah State Legislature policy.

“Bramson’s work as a preschool teacher and education support professional has had a profound impact on the lives of countless students, teachers, and school employees in the Park City School District and throughout Utah,” said a press release from PCSD. “We congratulate Bramson on her achievements and wish her continued success in her efforts to improve public education on behalf of education support professionals across the state.”

Bramson will represent Utah at the 2023 National Education Association Education Support Professionals of the Year banquet in Boston, where she will be honored for her achievements in education.
