MDW work schedule and beyond for US-40 from SR-248
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — In case you missed it, UtahDOT crews began work on US-40 from SR-248 to the Wasatch County line. Please find an UPDATED work schedule below:
– Friday, May 26 through Monday, May 29: Crews will be off the road for the holiday weekend.
– Tuesday, May 30 through Saturday, June 3: US-40 daytime single-lane closures will be in place in each direction from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. for concrete grinding operations.
– Monday, June 5 through Saturday, June 10: US-40 daytime single-lane closures will be in place in each direction from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. for concrete grinding operations.
Nighttime ramp closures are tentatively planned, equipment and weather pending.
“The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is improving the concrete pavement on U.S. Route 40 (US-40) from SR-248 to the Wasatch county lines,” said Input UDOT. “The improvements will include filling cracks, replacing concrete slabs as needed, and improving bridge joints. Crews will also improve striping, signs and cameras as needed throughout the project area.”
