KAMAS, Utah — The boil order on the Kamas water system was lifted yesterday at approximately 5 p.m.
The boil order was issued on Saturday afternoon after water test results came back positive for E. coli. According to a statement from Summit County, final test results showed that the water now does not contain any contaminants.
“Based on the continued testing of the water system, flushing your house water system is not necessary,” said a statement from Summit County. “However, if you feel that running your water for a few minutes gives you piece of mind, please feel free to do so.”
