Flood Watch issued for East Canyon Creek near Jeremy Ranch

PARK CITY, Utah — As of 3:45 p.m. on April 28 River Flood Watches have been issued by the National Weather Service until further notice for the Lower Weber River at Plain City, the Little Bear River at Paradise, and East Canyon Creek near Jeremy Ranch downstream to East Canyon Reservoir.

As high pressure builds, temperatures will steadily warm into early next week. By Monday, high temperatures will challenge daily records in many locations across the state. Rising temperatures will lead to increased snow melt and the potential for river levels to rise significantly. River flows are expected to peek early next week before temperatures decline later in the week reducing the river flows and snow melt.
