Solitude crosses into the 700 inch club, extends season to May 21
UTAH —As the snow continues to fall day after day, it was only a matter of time before Solitude Mountain Resort crossed into the 700-inch club.
In the last 24 hours, Solitude has received 7 inches of snow, setting a new all-time snowfall record for the resort at 703 inches.
In addition to setting a new record, Solitude also announced today that it will extend its season, with the final day now being May 21.
The resort will remain open seven days a week through May 7, then open Friday through Sunday until May 21. This extension of the season will bring the resort to a new record season length of 185 days.
