Park City’s Bed Bath and Beyond store closing later this month
PARK CITY, Utah — The Bed Bath and Beyond store located in Park City’s Kimball Junction Redstone Center will close its doors to the public for good after March 19.
The national retail ‘big box’ store anchored the Redstone development, and opened its doors along with the Center’s opening. It remained in place while some other businesses and restaurants around it, a mix of national and locally owned and operated, changed.
During the pandemic, the storefront paused operations for extended periods of time. The future of the retailer remained unclear until early last month, when Bed Bath and Beyond’s Park City location was the only Utah store on a list of 87 locations slated for closure.
In the store’s final days, prices have been discounted 50% – 70%, although shelves are already 90% empty. Personal pickup trucks are being driven throughout the community displaying signage advertising the big sale.
