Figure Skating Club of Park City’s successes at Utah Olympic Oval
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — On March 24 and 25, athletes in the Figure Skating Club of Park City took skating skills tests in the Spring Challenge at the Utah Olympic Oval and came home with multiple successes.
US Figure Skating sanctioned results/tests passed:
- Katie Patel – Cha Cha, Swing, Fiesta Tango, Pre-Bronze Dance test
- Awstyn Knight- Cha Cha, Swing, Fiesta Tango, Pre-Bronze Dance test, Hickory Hoedown, Willow Waltz, Ten Fox, Bronze Dance test
- Camille Sibley- European Waltz, foxtrot, Pre-Silver Dance test
- Alyssa Thornsbury – Gold Medal, 14 step, European Waltz, Senior Moves, foxtrot, Pre-Silver Dance test
- Chase Rohner (associate member)- Intermediate Freedance
- Dimi Jones (associate member)- American Waltz with honors, Silver Dance test, Novice Solo Freedance with Honors
- Evie Jones (associate member)- Starlight Waltz, Junior Solo Freedance
- Morgan Heavrin- Quadruple Gold Medals, Quickstep with Distinction, Westminster Waltz with Honors, Gold Dance test
- Zoey Ayers – Gold Medal, Senior Moves
- Kenzington Brady- Novice Moves
- Dash Williams -Novice Moves
Administrators write on Facebook, “Congratulations to our athletes who passed tests today at the Oval. We are so proud! Thank you to the Oval Figure Skating Club for hosting!” They added, “Many thanks to Coach Chris for the amazing partnering.”
The Figure Skating Club of Park City is a Youth Sports Alliance competitive Team, and is based out of the Park City Ice Arena.
