Parking reservations at PCMR available from opening day until December 11 only

PARK CITY, Utah – Park City Mountain Resort’s (PCMR) parking reservation system went active today, allowing skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to reserve their spots for dates between November 18 and December 11. Reservations for dates after December 11 will not be available for reservations until December 1 at noon mountain time.

Parking will be free at surface lots until December 12, when it changes to $25 per day until April 2. Mountain Village garage will be $40 throughout the ski season.

For those making reservations, each account is limited to five future reservations with the idea that this will allow more access to everyone across the season.

As a means of encouraging participation in the reservation program, vehicles that are found to be parked in either Silver King, Main, and First Tim surface lots or the Mountian village Garage before 1 p.m. without a reservation will receive a fine of $125. Repeat offenders could face increased penalties, including having their vehicle towed at their expense.

To participate in Park City Mountain’s text alert system for updates on parking, can text PARK to 435-244-7169. Any further updates in relation to parking can be found on the Park City Mountain website.

TownLift received information from readers that the reservation system was preventing them from making more than one reservation, prompting some scheduling frustrations. PCMR suggests that anyone encountering difficulties when making a reservation to fill out the contact form on the parking reservation site for the quickest response.
