Heber City water and sewer project construction to continue through winter to meet spring deadline

HEBER CITY, Utah — Heber City asked, and residents answered. Winter work has been approved to continue on the Water and Sewer Replacement project. Supply chain issues for the Heber City project were cited as the reason for the delay, so the city did a survey, and the response from residents was to push through the winter.

The ongoing construction will affect a number of streets, chief among them 200 South between 100 and 200 East. Residential streets surrounding the area will also be closed through Spring 2023, and residents should expect continued traffic interruption in the coming months.

Because the project is related to sewer and water for the area, Heber City says that residents should be prepared for intermittent disruptions to service. The final paving for the project is expected to be concluded by spring of next year.

If residents have questions or comments about the construction, they can call Heber City at (435)406-4910.
