Park City Planning Commission to discuss proposal to replace Double Tree Hotel with mixed-use condos
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Planning Commission is scheduled to discuss a proposal to replace the Double Tree Hotel on 1800 Park Avenue with a mixed-use housing project. The meeting will take place on September 14, starting at 5:30 p.m.
The session will be open to the public in person or online via Zoom. It will feature two exhibits regarding the proposed plan: a project description and plan from the applicants and a preliminary review and analysis from the Park City housing team. Readers can find full documents related to the session here.
According to the work session staff report, the new housing project would feature two buildings in preparation for the meeting. The first would house 173 rental units, including 147 deed-restricted units, 26 market-rate units, and 5,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. The second building would house another 100 market-rate condo units.
This work session is scheduled to last 60 minutes and will not include time for a public hearing during this meeting.
