Utah State Park specials for Military Appreciation Day
UTAH — The Utah Division of State Parks will offer free day-use entrance to state parks for active military veterans and their families within the same vehicle on Saturday, August 13, for Military Appreciation Day. This Is the Place Heritage Park will have standard fees.
Military Appreciation Day also offers additional activities, with some parks offering local events and programs.
Antelope Island State Park offers 10% off at their gift shop for those with valid ID cards.
Camp Floyd State Park is offering entry from 10 a.m-4 p.m. At 2 p.m there will be a concert by the Benson Sisters. Food is available for purchase. Admission is $5 per person or $15 per family for non-military families. Active military, veterans, and their families get in free if in the same vehicle. The offer is limited to immediate family.
Soldier Hollow Golf Course offers free range tokens and lessons on the practice greens for Military Appreciation Day.
Utah Lake State Park will give a small token of gratitude to active and veteran military members while supplies last.
Yuba State Park has a free pancake and sausage breakfast for all active military and veterans and their families from 8-10 a.m. at the Oasis day use pavilion.
