Red Bull High Desert Scramble debuts in Utah on July 30
NEPHI, Utah — The Red Bull High Desert Scramble is set to make its debut in the remote deserts of central Utah on Saturday, July 30.
The event will be held during UTV Invasion, an annual three-stop series that attracts thousands of competitors and fans across Utah, Idaho, and Oklahoma.
All competitors will meet at the start line to battle it out on uniquely crafted trails throughout the Little Sahara Recreation Area. The race course will consist of two to three laps with each lap covering 7.5 miles of wide-open desert terrain ripping through spider trees and massive sand dunes.
Two competitive race classes are offered with the SXS Pro class for more experienced racers, and SXS Sportsman for amateur off-road enthusiasts. Podium finishers will be awarded a series of prizes including $5,000 worth of Polaris accessories, BFGoodrich Tires and more. Registration is now open for participants.
Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team members Seth Quintero and Mia Chapman will be in attendance. “Another pin on the map in the Red Bull Scramble Series is exhilarating and I think this one will be an absolute blast,” said Quintero. “Utah presents some pretty crazy settings – sand dunes, elevation and extreme heat and winds. It’s going to be gnarly out there.”
