USA Nordic announces roster for 2022 Fly Camp
PARK CITY, Utah. — On Monday, USA Nordic Sport (USANS) announced the rosters of the “Fly Girls” and “Fly Guys” that will be attending the 2022 Fly Camp.
The annual Fly Camp will begin in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, on July 5 and will finish in Park City, Utah, on July 24.
The Fly Camp provides an opportunity for young athletes to transition from the club level, to the Junior National Team. The camp will consist of sport specific training for Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined, but will also provide the opportunity for cross training to develop them as well-rounded athletes.
“USA Nordic Sport is proud to present this year’s Fly Girls and Fly Guys rosters, and continue Fly Camp this year! We view this camp as a valuable stepping stone for these athletes in their young careers,” said Interim Chief Operating Officer Blake Hughes. “It was exceptionally exciting for us to see our first Fly Girl alumni, Anna Hoffmann, represent our country at the Winter Olympics this year in Beijing.”
The Fly Camp is made possible by the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, as well as Women’s Ski Jumping USA.
