Park City’s lower elevation trails in perfect shape for the warm weekend
PARK CITY, Utah — Temperatures are expected to hit the 60s this weekend in Park City alongside mostly sunny skies.
Mountain Trails Foundation (MTF) reported on Friday that all lower elevation trails are in “perfect shape.” Mid-elevation trails are “melting out crazy-fast but you will still have to navigate pockets of snow and downed trees.”
The Mid-Mountain Trail is still a week or two out from proper condition, according to MTF.
What trails you can consider good to go:
- Freemason
- Lost Prospector
- Skid Row
- Armstrong up to and including Dawns
- Lower Spiro
- Jenni’s only has a few pockets of snow
- Sweeney’s
- Lower John’s
- 420
- Gravedigger
- Moosehouse
- Daly Overlook
- Trapper’s Gate
- Rossi Hill
MTF is hosting a clean-up event Saturday, May 14 at the Highland Drive Trailhead from 8 a.m. to noon. Look for the tent, and fill out this waiver if you plan on attending.
