Connect Summit County to host multiple Mental Health Awareness events in May
PARK CITY, Utah — In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Connect Summit County will be holding several more events throughout the remainder of the month in order to provide mental health support and resources to Summit County.
Having previously held events such as the May Soiree, Marvelous and the Black Hole and an Ask Me Anything panel, Connect Summit County will host the following events:
“For Love” Film Screen with Park City Film
Location: Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave, Park City, UT 84060
Time: Thursday, May 19, at 7 p.m.
Individuals can join Park City Film for a screening of “For Love”, a documentary film about the overrepresentation in the child welfare system in Canada due to colonial regimes. The film sheds insight on the current situation and how Indigenous communities are taking back jurisdictional control of their children.

Connect, Dance, Play!

Time: Saturday, May 21, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Connect Summit County will be hosting a community event at the Park City Community Church with a plethora of activities, including a Furry Friend Lounge, Lawn Games and multiple food vendors among others.
