Flat Line Fire updates
Update 10:24 pm – Fire activity slowed in the evening. Fire personnel will continue to secure the perimeter & monitor fire behavior through the night. 5% containment was reported by Utah Fire Info. The Flat Line Fire has been confirmed as human-caused and remains under investigation.
Update 7:41pm – The fire is now estimated at 85 acres. A heavy air tanker is on scene to assist with ground resources. SR-40 will be closed while the tanker makes retardant drops. Please use alternative routes & avoid the area.

Update: 7:10pm – Wasatch County currently has a working fire near HWY 40 and west of the mayflower exit. The Flatline fire is believed to be human caused and has burned approx 50 acres of oak and sage brush. There are about 40 personnel on the fire at this time including Wasatch Fire District, Forest Service, Public Works, Park City Fire, BLM and Forestry Fire & State Lands. At this time the Flatline fire is 0% contained.

Update: 6:30pm – The Flat Line Fire is now estimated at 50 acres, according to Utah Fire Info. Officials say to use caution if traveling in the area smoke is impacting SR-40.
WASATCH COUNTY, Utah – A brush fire was reported late Sunday afternoon near Mayflower, just north of Heber City
Wasatch County officials are asking people to avoid the area. No structures are currently threatened.
