What to know for the YSA Olympic & Paralympic Homecoming Parade
PARK CITY, Utah — The Youth Sports Alliance’s Olympic and Paralympic Homecoming Parade is set to kick off on Main Street on Friday, April 1 at 5 pm. Large crowds are expected, according to Park City Municipal.
What to know:
- Lower Main Street will close at 1:00 p.m. (between 7th & 9th Streets)
- Upper Main Street will close at 3:00 p.m. (7th Street to top of Main)
- Full closure of Main Street beginning at 4:00 p.m.
- The China Bridge parking structure and surface parking lots are anticipated to fill, with paid parking at normal rates. Paid parking will begin at 3:00 p.m. ($3/hour, $18 max, first hour free).
- Parking will be available at Park City High School.
- Park City is encouraging people to use FREE Park City Transit!
Autographs and photo opportunities will follow the Parade.
In 2018, more than 40 Olympians and Paralympians participated in the parade and celebration.
On the microphone will be Park City’s nine-time Winter and Summer Olympic/Paralympic/Youth Olympic Games announcer Carl Roepke.
