Uphill traffic restriction lifted in LCC
ALTA, Utah — The uphill traffic restriction on SR-210 in Little Cottonwood Canyon was lifted at 12:30 pm on Sunday.
“The uphill restriction has been lifted as Snowbird roadside and resort parking can now accommodate additional vehicles,” UDOT said. “Be prepared for downhill delays with the high volume of traffic today!”
The Unified Police Department of Greater Salt Lake and the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) started restricting uphill traffic at 10:08 am due to congestion.
Only those with Alta Ski Area & Snowbird parking reservations were allowed up.
The traction law has been lifted in both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons.
