Real Salt Lake to host season opener watch party on Sunday
SALT LAKE CITY — With Major League Soccer (MLS) kicking off its 2022 season this week, Real Salt Lake (RSL) will be hosting a watch party on Sunday, Feb. 27 to support the team in its season opener against Houston.

The event will take place at Rio Tinto Stadium’s West-Side 2nd-Floor Interform Club with celebrity guests, prize packs and giveaways, and will feature an appearance from U92’s deejay E-Rock to kick off the event at 3:00 p.m. MT.
The broadcast for RSL’s match against the Houston Dynamo will begin at 4:30 p.m. MT, with a 5 p.m. MT kickoff televised on KMYU or streamed via KSL Sports / KSL TV apps. Former RSL player and media analyst Jay Nolly will be joined by KUTV and 1280 the Zone’s David James at Rio Tinto Stadium to host Sunday’s activities.
Those who attend the Stadium party will receive access to the RSL Team Store’s 2022 season kickoff merchandise specials, opportunities to win RSL prize packs, giveaways and will gain access to 2022 “Road to the RioT” information as well.
Following their season opener, RSL will host their home opener on Saturday, March 5 against the Seattle Sounders at Rio Tinto Stadium. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. MT.
