Jr. Jazz registration is open at Basin Rec
PARK CITY, Utah — Junior Jazz, the Utah Jazz National Basketball Association (NBA) youth sport development program, is back in Park City. They offer the opportunity to sharpen basketball skills, build friendships, and practice sportsmanship with the largest and longest-running youth basketball league in the NBA.
Junior Jazz impacts the lives of more than 60,000 youth every year. Individual programs are managed through recreation centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, and Nevada. It emphasizes the development of teamwork and fundamental basketball skills, accompanied by positive adult participation. Junior Jazz also includes the Lead Together Initiative which empowers athletes, coaches, parents, fans, and staff to embrace the five values of Respect, Leadership, Sportsmanship, Kindness, and Positivity. Each year, Lead Together winners are invited to a party at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.
The three video games available on the Junior Jazz webpage cater directly to their demographic.
