Survey shows 27% of young adults in Utah moved back in with their parents
PARK CITY, Utah — A survey conducted by isoldmyhouse.com shows that 27% of young adults in Utah (ages 18-35) moved back in with their parents in the past year.
3,500 people were interviewed in August for the survey. According to the results, the two biggest reasons for the migration were pandemic-related job losses and high housing costs.
The national average of young adults moving back home is 36%. In neighboring Nevada, the figure is 67%.
