Logistics for Halloween on Main

PARK CITY, Utah — The annual Halloween on Main event returns to Main Street on Sunday, October 31 at 3 pm.
Parking and vehicles will be removed from the top of Main Street to 9th Street starting at 2 pm.
Also starting at 2 pm, Swede Alley will be one-way to vehicles heading north.
There is free parking available at the following locations:
- Ecker Hill Park-and-Ride: with free transit
- Kimball Park-and-Ride: with free transit
- Sandridge Lots: expected to fill quickly
- Park City School District (Kearns Blvd.): parking available after 3:30 pm with free transit
- Park City Mountain, Canyons Village, and Deer Valley: with free transit
Paid parking:
- China Bridge: $10/vehicle from 2 pm – 6 pm with entry from Marsac Ave. only
- Private lots: available throughout Old Town, with varying regulations, pay structures, and costs.
Parking permit holders:
- Business, carpool, and employee permit holders: pass holders can park in the North Marsac or the Gateway Center upper lot. Parking is available in China Bridge if North Marsac and Gateway are full.
The drop-off area will be in the South Marsac Lot beginning at 2 pm.
Park City Transit and High Valley Transit are conducting a one-day pilot program, welcoming dogs to board public transit.
Things to know before riding transit with your dog:
- Service animals and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
- Other pets are only permitted if kept inside a pet carrier at all times.
- Only one licensed and vaccinated dog per owner.
- Dogs must remain on a maximum 6-foot leash.
- Dogs must remain on the floor and out of the aisle, or on owners’ laps.
- For safety reasons, drivers reserve the right to limit the number of dogs on buses.
- Aggressive dogs are not permitted.
- Dog owners have sole responsibility for their dogs.
