Controlled burns planned at Deer Valley on Tuesday
PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort is conducting controlled burns on their property on Tuesday, October 26, according to Park City Municipal.
You may see smoke in and around the area. It is a planned burn, so there is no need to call 911.
The burn is part of wildfire mitigations efforts in the area.
The burns are tightly monitored by crews on site. Park City Fire District, the Summit County Fire Warden, and the State’s Division of Forestry, Fire, and State Lands are all involved to provide technical assistance and guidance to Deer Valley in their planning.
