A close loss for Miners football, 27 – 24

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City High School (PCHS) Miners varsity boy’s football team lost to the Brighton Bengals, at home, 27 – 24 on Friday night.
Park City was beaten in this league challenge with the visiting Bengals from Salt Lake City.
PCHS wrote in a statement that, the Bengals (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clearfield. The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 1 1 – 7 record. In their last challenge, Clearfield High lost to Layton High, 35 – 0, in a league challenge.
The Miners now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skyline for a 5A Region 6 challenge on Friday, October 8. Park City will meet the Eagles team coming off a 20 – 13 league win over Salt Lake City’s East High. The Eagles record now stands at 5 – 3.
