Semi-truck rollover on I-80 WB closes lanes

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A semi-truck crashed and rolled over in Parley’s Canyon on Friday, according to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP).

UHP said the truck was traveling westbound on I-80 near mile marker 133.

The Utah Department of Transportation expects traffic delays in the area until at least 1:45 pm.

HAZMAT had to respond to the scene, as the truck was carrying batteries, according to ABC4.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
