Worel, Toly and Rubell come out on top in primary election
PARK CITY — Voting was tallied Tuesday night for the mayoral and city council primary election in Park City.
Nann Worel leads the way in the mayor’s race, almost doubling incumbent Andy Beerman’s vote count. It appears the newcomer David Dobkin will be cut.
Political outsiders Tana Toly and Jeremy Rubell lead the City Council’s primary results. They both garnered over a thousand votes, while incumbent Tim Henney managed 682.
Toly, Rubell, Henney, and basketball coach Thomas Purcell will advance as of unofficial counts Tuesday night. In the current vote totals, Purcell is ahead of John Greenfield by only 25 votes.
