Wahweap Main Ramp and Swim Beach will close Monday, August 16
GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA — The National Park Service (NPS) recently announced that the Wahweap Main Ramp and Swim Beach will close on Monday, August 16 because of low water levels.
“Boaters are advised that the Wahweap Main Ramp will be closed to motorized vessels beginning Monday, August 16 due to low water conditions,” an NPS post said.
“Vessels up to 36 feet in length and 8 feet 6 inches wide may utilize the Wahweap Auxiliary Ramp from 6 a.m. MST until 7:30 p.m. MST daily.”
Additionally, the Wahweap Swim Beach and the associated parking area will also close on August 16 because of construction at the Stateline Auxiliary Ramp.
