Park City Fire District crew battling the Dixie Fire in California

CHICO, Calif. — Wes Staples, Zane Thompson, and Brant Lucas from the Park City Fire District are currently in northern California working to contain the Dixie Fire.
The blaze is the state’s second-largest wildfire ever.
It started 48 days ago. According to the latest reports, it is 807,396 acres and 48 percent contained.

The team the group from Park City is on is currently working to hold the fire line on the northwest side where the fire grew 12,000 acres yesterday.
