Coalville and Oakley election results
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — There were other primary elections finishing up in Summit County on Tuesday.
In a primary with over 40 percent voter turnout (336 ballots/835 registered voters), Mark Marsh and Lynn Wood were neck and neck in the Coalville Mayor’s race.
Marsh is 27 votes ahead, according to unofficial results posted Tuesday night. Tyler Rowser only garnered 10 votes.
Louise Willoughby led a crowded field for City Council. It appears that alongside her, Stefanie Bowen, Christopher Horne, and Drew Robinson will advance to the November election.
There were three candidates — Brandon Brady (67 votes), Steven Richins (63), and Kelly Ovard (60) — less than 12 votes off of Robinson (72).
In the race for Oakley City Council, Kelly Kimber was far ahead of the pack. Clayton Page, Steve Wilmoth, and Marissa Dillman will join her on the November ballot.
Dillman edged Jane Sorenson Lewis by only one vote, per unofficial results.
