Closures and logistics for the Kimball Arts Festival this weekend
PARK CITY, Utah — Following a pandemic off-year, the Kimball Arts Festival is fast approaching this weekend.
Various parking and road closures will change the traffic flow over the next several days.
Starting today, the Bob Wells and Brew Pub Parking Lots are closed.
On August 6 at 3 am, Main Street, Heber Avenue, Swede Alley, and Swede Alley remaining surface lots will close to parking and traffic. They will remain closed until August 8 at midnight.
Throughout the entire weekend, transportation access will be restricted in Old Town.
Officials are recommending visitors park outside of Old Town and take transit to the event.
Free parking lots with transit access include:
- Ecker Hill Park-and-Ride
- Homestake Lot
- Sandridge Lots
- Park City School District (Kearns Blvd.)
- Park City Mountain Resort
- Deer Valley Resort
Masks are required on City buses.
There will be a bike valet available on 9th Street.
There will also be paid parking available at China Bridge and other private lots.
