1,050 new COVID-19 cases reported on Wednesday

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Department of Health reported 1,050 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, along with 8 related deaths.
On Friday, August 6, you can get a vaccine — no appointment necessary — at el Rancho Market on S Redwood Road in West Valley City.
Currently, 45 percent of all Utahns are fully vaccinated. That lags slightly behind the national rate of 49.7 percent.
