Utah’s Snow College, two points short in jr. college football nationals
EPHRAIM, Utah. — On Saturday, Utah’s Snow College men’s football team came up two points short in the national junior college championship game against Kansas’ Hutchinson Community College, the match was played in Little Rock, AR.
Central Utah’s Snow College Badgers, ranked number two in the nation, ended the regular season with an 8-0 record before the national championship game against the number one ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons.
With a final score of 29 to 27, the Badgers lead the majority of the game while a game-ending injury struck their starting quarterback Garrison Beach after throwing two touchdowns.
The game was being made up from a COVID postponement. This was the third appearance in a national championship game for Snow College Community College which won the title in 1985.
