Snyderville Basin Planning Commission meets tonight
PARK CITY, Utah. — Public comment during the Snyderville Basin Planning Commission’s meeting tonight is expected to include a resident’s statement of concern regarding the avalanche fences being installed by Vail in the Dream Peak area above The Colony housing development at The Canyons. That project was approved last spring without public input.
As the fences are not on the meeting agenda, there will not likely be a significant amount of back and forth discussion with commissioners.
On the commission’s agenda for this regular meeting:
- A hearing and potential action on a conditional use permit for a church-restaurant facility in Silver Creek
- Hearing and potential action on a conditional use permit for the new proposed Anaya’s Market complex, also in Silver Creek
- Hearing and potential action on the Elk Creek housing subdivision in Silver Creek
The commission’s work session begins at 4:30 p.m., with public comment expected to begin at 6 p.m. The public comment portion is limited to those submitting comments to the commission by email before noon on April 26.
