Gov. Cox authorizes flags at half staff to honor victims of Atlanta shooting
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox today authorized the lowering of the United States flag and the flag of the state of Utah on all state facilities in accordance with President Joe Biden’s proclamation honoring the victims of the shooting in the Atlanta Metropolitan area, which occurred earlier this week.
The directive is effective from sunset, March 18, 2021 to sunset, March 22, 2021. Private citizens and businesses are encouraged to participate as well.
