Park City Business License Renewal Extended Until January 31st

PARK CITY, Utah.—  Park City businesses can renew their licenses penalty-free until January 31st. Any person engaging in business within city limits, including selling goods or services, must be licensed.

Typically, license fees are due by October 1st. After October 15, there is a $25 or 25% penalty, and another $25 or 50% penalty after November 15, with a 100% penalty by January. Citations may be issued to businesses without a license. This year Park City government is allowing an exception until January 31st.

Fees are due at the time of application, and business owners should expect to wait about 5-10 business days for their license to be processed. All licenses expire every September 30.

Find more information and register a business here or in person at the Park City Municipal Corporation Finance Department.

Those located outside of Park City limits but elsewhere in Summit County must apply here: Summit County Licensing.
