Writing Workshop: You Have Something to Share

October 1 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Free

Wasatch County Library invites aspiring and experienced writers to join multi-published and award-winning author and artist Sara Fitzgerald for a hands-on writing workshop focused on the idea that everyone has something worth sharing.

Through a series of writing exercises and prompts, participants will learn how to draw from their own experiences and emotions to develop stories, characters, themes, and a unique creative voice. The workshop will also address the fear of having “nothing important to say” and help participants find a meaningful place to begin.

You don’t need a glamorous life, a perfect plan, or complete confidence to begin. You already have something worth sharing.

Sara Fitzgerald is a multi-published and award-winning author and artist. Her novella Making a Mess of Things received the 2025 Gold Quill Award from the League of Utah Writers, while A Kiss for Kate received the 2024 Silver Quill Award. She also won first place in the horror category of the 2024 Eagle Mountain Writing Contest.
